Tradescantia

For the Plant of the Month this June, we are featuring the beautiful Tradescantia plant, also known as the “Inch Plant” plant. The Tradescantia plants feature beautiful variegated leaves and thrive in drought like conditions. Tradescantias are a fantastic plant for “beginner” plant owners or those who believe they do not possess a green thumb, as they thrive on neglect.

Since we had so much fun doing our Christmas Open House with you all, we’re excited to announce that we’ll be doing it again! Save the date because on Thursday June 10th at 7:00pm we’ll be hosting a virtual Summer Open House!

A lot has changed since the last time we’ve seen you all and we can’t wait to give you a sneak peek before we open back up again (fingers crossed) on June 14th. We’ll be broadcasting live on our Kelly’s Flowers Facebook Page at 7pm sharp on June 10th. During the live we’ll be modeling some of our favourite products, sharing all of our favourite 2021 Summer home décor trends and our staff will be on-hand to answer any of your questions. There will also be prizes throughout the live!

As we have been getting updates about what will be allowed in the coming weeks, we wanted to keep you all informed as well. Until Monday June 14th, we will be continuing our current Lockdown hours at the store. This means we will be open Monday – Saturday from 10am – 3pm for curbside pickup and delivery.

If all goes to plan and the Province permits it, we will hopefully be re-opening Kelly’s on June 14th. If we are able to do so, then our business hours will return to Monday – Saturday, 9am – 5:30pm and Sundays 11am – 5pm. If permission to open is granted, then we will be following all Province Phase One re-opening measures and signage will be posted at the store entrances.
