Shamrocks – Care Tips

Shamrocks are a symbol of the Irish holiday, St. Patrick’s Day. It is said that the three leaves of a Shamrock represent, faith, hope and love. Finding a fourth leaf is considered to be very lucky.

Shamrocks have a shallow root system and prefer a slightly moist, well-drained soil. If their leaves become wilted or droopy, you will need to increase the amount of watering. They tend to perform best if kept “pot-bound” because of their shallow root system. Bright, indirect sunlight will keep your Shamrock blooming all winter.

We will have lots of Shamrocks this month, to help you celebrate the St. Patrick’s holiday.
