The Festival of the Maples will soon be upon us!
We can’t wait for the downtown to be filled with over 100 craft, artisan & food vendors, live music, a delicious pancake breakfast and of course, maple syrup, maple candy, maple cookies, maple fudge, maple taffy; maple inspired everything. So come to Perth, Saturday April 29, from 9am – 4pm for a day of family fun. We will be open and joining in the festivities, and would love to see you.
We just received a new shipment of Turkey Hill Maple Cream Cookies & Fudge. The cookies are a staff favourite, with their delicious, creamy, maple syrup filling, how could they not be. And the fudge! Don’t get us started on the fudge; made with pure, Canadian maple syrup, it melts in your mouth. We love to add these items to our gift baskets.
Kelly’s is a supplier of Stead Maple Syrup, a third generation maple syrup producer, located in Lanark. They make their syrup in a traditional style sugar camp with stainless steel equipment, in a wood fire evaporator. They produce maple syrup of the highest quality, all grades, packaged in 500ml up to 4L bottles. Stop by during the Festival of the Maples to pick up your Stead Maple Syrup and maple candies. Fun fact, Krista’s family owns Stead Farm Maple Syrup.
At Kelly’s, we are always trying our best to help the Planet. Everyday, we do things like recycle, compost our scraps, re-use or re-purpose materials for displays and decorations for the shop. Plus, once a year, during the month of April, we bring back our ever popular Vase Exchange. You bring in your old vases in exchange for some tulips. Do you have any old vases you’re not currently using? Bring them in. We would love to re-purpose them. Start cleaning your cupboards now because drops offs start April 1st.
For those who are new to the Kelly’s Newsletter or are more recent Kelly’s customers, the Daffodil Campaign is an annual event that we have been taking part in to supply daffodils for your purchase, in order to support the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital’s Chemotherapy room.

I’ve been debating sharing this news since January and well, here it is…….
April 1st 1998, the day that shaped my entire career, the day I started at Kelly’s! 25 years, really how is that even possible, yes I started at age 6…. not quite, 17!
This April 1st, we will be celebrating and I am so proud to come from a community that continuously shows their support and have allowed me the opportunity to grow the business to what it has become. You have all stood by me through every win and every obstacle. I really couldn’t be more grateful for each and every one of you.
